General

Be flexible with any recipe and substitute according to your preference! If using a particular ingredient that you love...add more. If there's something in there that you don't like, substitute or use sparingly. Unless you're baking, there's really no need to measure. Cooking should be about what you and your family like. If you have kids, find something safe for them to do to help. When you let kids help in the kitchen, they'll eat anything! This is a great way to teach healthy lifelong habits. Get creative and have fun with it!
